Extra Life Tabletop Appreciation Day Recap!

It’s official! Extra Life Tabletop Appreciation Day 2022 is in the books! As of the writing of this blog, we are just shy of the halfway point to beat last year’s total of $4,061! All of the funds donated benefit Extra Life and our local children’s Hospital Carilion Children’s here in Roanoke, VA! Also as of this writing, Open Heart Games is once again the top Extra Life donor for our local chapter and is in the top 175 teams nationwide! And we could not do it without you, our wonderful community of RPG and hobby-gaming fans!

This was the first year we were able to try something new by adding incentives (which you can read all about here)! During the marathon the following items were donated to our players via the incentives: 

1 Bardic Inspiration

1 Potion of Healing

1 Random Potion

1 Re-Roll

11 Wonderous Items

1 Draw from the Deck of Many Things - Which luckily was a boon to one of our adventurers! 

Once again Abigail and I are humbled by the generosity and the support of our wonderful community. We wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who helped make our 12 hour marathon such a success. Our players, our fans, our friends, and all of the donors. Every donation is one step closer to helping us achieve our goal of raising $4,062.
